Today, River Valley Elementary held our First Annual Butterfly Release. Students gathered at the pond to honor the memory of Mrs. Susan Henrichsen through butterfly releases, meaningful activities, and moments of reflection. It was a beautiful experience filled with kindness, connection, and lasting memories. We are so proud of our students for making this event so meaningful.

Recognition of Service for Jenny Alderink

On behalf of the River Valley Schools community, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to Jenny Alderink for her eight years of dedicated service as a member of the Board of Education.

Serving on a school board is often a thankless responsibility, requiring countless hours of preparation, meetings, community engagement, and difficult decision-making. Throughout her tenure, Jenny consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the students, staff, families, and taxpayers of River Valley Schools.

As Jenny concludes her service on the Board of Education, we offer our thanks for her leadership, commitment, and countless contributions over the past eight years. We wish her and her family all the best in the years ahead and are grateful for the legacy of service she leaves behind.

Thank you, Jenny, for your dedication to River Valley Schools and the entire River Valley community.
