Congrats to your 2026 Volleyball Conference Champions!

If you would like to order a T-shirt to support the girls volleyball team, we are now accepting orders. Shirts are $20 each, and they will be available for pickup before the regional game on Thursday, Oct. 22.

The order window will close on Monday, Oct. 19 at noon, so act fast!

Orders can be placed through our GoFan portal. Just go to the district website and click on the icon at the very top of the page.

Yesterday, our students had a chance to explore the gas utility and power distribution field at an event hosted by Northcentral Technical College in Wausau. Mr. Volkmann's classes attended the event, which gave them the opportunity to meet with industry professionals who work in the field every day. The event was full of hands-on activities that showed students how utility crews install, repair and maintain systems.

This is just one of the many career-related trips our students at TLHS will participate in this year.

Have you had a cold glass of apple c***r yet this fall? Or maybe you prefer it hot ..

Whichever way you drink it, it's a quintessential flavor of fall, which our students were able to sample this morning. And better yet, the apple c***r came from the trees right outside the school! These lovely red fruits are Haralson apples, a variety especially suited to colder zones (down to USDA Zone 3), which makes it a great choice for our northern climate.

A special thanks to the Three Lakes Community Foundation for the grant that allowed us to grow our own food right here at school!

Good morning, Bluejays, and welcome to the start of playoff season!

This week in Bluejay athletics, we have a few home games: JH football tonight, JH volleyball on Tuesday and then a JV/Varsity game on Friday. Please note the time for the volleyball game against Crandon because it's different than a typical game.

And then ... it's playoff time! Our cross-country team will be running in the conference meet on Thursday, and the high school football team will take on Wabeno in the first round of playoffs on Saturday at 1 pm in Wabeno.

It's going to be a great week to be a Bluejay!

It's almost .... pumpkin time!

The Pumpkinfest crew is in the building, and the hustle and bustle of setup has started. If you're in the area, stop by the school tomorrow for allllll of the fall things. You'll find vendors and delicious food and ... let's not forget ... cinnamon rolls!

The annual event is hosted by the Three Lakes Fire Department Auxiliary.

We also wish all of the racers good luck tomorrow in the Three Eagle Half Marathon & 5K

We are so excited about this new program in our district. Thanks to a grant from the Three Lakes Community Foundation and the Class of 1976, our students are able to work offsite building locally right here in Three Lakes. More to come!

🏗️ Building Futures, One Project at a Time 🏗️

The Three Lakes Community Foundation is thrilled to announce a $3,500 grant to the Three Lakes School District's building trades program for their new initiative: Building Bluejays!

This grant will help purchase a trailer and essential hand tools, letting students take on real, hands-on building projects right here in our community, without the travel time and logistical hurdles that have limited opportunities in the past.

And here's the best part: when a member of the Class of 1976 heard about this project, they were so inspired that they contributed an additional $1,000 as a pass-through grant, bringing even more momentum to this exciting new program!

The students' first major project? A garage just a block from the school grounds, and we hear a second project is already lined up for next year! 🙌

This program gives students the chance to build real skills, serve their own community, and showcase their work right here at home. We are SO excited to watch this grow.

Huge thanks to everyone who made this possible — including our generous Class of 1976 donor — and congratulations to the Three Lakes School District on launching Building Bluejays!

What a great morning for the annual Three Lakes Fire Department Ride-to-School Program!

At right around 8 am, two fire engines rolled up to the school to drop off the winners of the annual Fire Prevention Color Contest. These lucky winners were picked up at their homes by the fire dept. earlier this morning, and then, they were taken out to a pancake breakfast in town to enjoy some time with the fire fighters. And trust us when we say you could still smell the sweet scent of maple syrup as this crew disembarked.

Thank you so much to the fire dept. for organizing this event each year. On a morning such as this, you see the best and sweetest part of Three Lakes ... even sweeter than maple syrup ... you get to see what community really looks like.
