Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating 75 years of HoneyRock. This November, we will gather in Wheaton to Remember the Rock.

Join fellow campers, staff, alumni, families, and friends as we gather in Wheaton to celebrate God’s faithfulness through 75 years of HoneyRock ministry. Together we’ll share stories, enjoy a meal, worship across generations, and journey through decades of photos and memories that tell the story of a place set apart.

Some of the most lasting parts of Vanguard aren’t just the skills learned or the places explored they’re the confidence gained and the relationships formed along the way through new challenges, leadership opportunities, and shared adventures.

As Vanguard Alumna Melissa '26 shares:

“Vanguard has been really transformational in my confidence and understanding of the importance of community. Through backpacking trips, horsemanship, and trips to other countries, I had the ability to do new things that pushed me out of my comfort zone. Through Vanguard, I got the opportunity to make friends that became family. I think that has all been just a gift that I really appreciate.”

This year you have the chance to Return to the Rock on September 24–27, 2026 for our friends and family reunion weekend.

This weekend you can look forward to reconnecting your your fellow HoneyRockers, engaging in classic HoneyRock acitivities, sharing meals, gathering in worship, and reflecting on How the Lord has used this place for his glory and how he will continue to move through future generations.

At HoneyRock, we believe our grounds are a sacred space where staff, campers, and families can encounter God’s presence in meaningful ways. From quiet moments by the waterfront to times of community and activity, every corner of camp holds opportunities to experience Him and His presence.

We asked our Summer Staff: Where at HoneyRock do you feel most in God’s presence?

For Res Elementary Cabin Leader Felix Ohrvall, that place is the “At the Foot of the Cross” bench near the worship chapel.

“It’s very peaceful. When I sit there, I’m able to clear my mind. The way the sun cuts through the trees makes me feel like I am in God’s presence.”

Joy Musser, head Horse Wrangler, finds her connection with God “most prominently at the barn through the forgiving and truthful nature of horses. I think this shows God because it reflects His forgiving and truthful nature. He forgives so quickly, and He will never lie to us; we can trust what He says.”

Whether gathered together or sitting in quiet reflection, HoneyRock offers countless places to pause, listen, and be reminded of God’s nearness.
