Come celebrate 50 years of the Three Bridges Christian Nursery School on November 14 as we recognize the generational impact that this school has left in the lives of so many families! Founded in 1970, the school has been an integral part of the life of 3BRC and it is important that we give thanks and recognize the depth of that impact. So whether you are a former student, a parent of an attendee, a former staff member, or simply someone who has been able to experience the importance of this school, you are invited! The celebration will take place on Sunday, November 14 at 11:30 AM following the worship service at 10:15 AM.

Dear Three Bridges Christian Nursery School Family,

It is with thanks to our Lord but with deep sadness that I write to inform you that after 50 years of service, from 1970 to 2020, the Three Bridges Christian Nursery School is closing. The school has been a focal point of Christian life and nurture for the thousands of children who learned early lessons of Christian love, friendship, social interaction, responsibility, and sharing and caring. Unfortunately, present circumstances make it impossible to continue our work as we would desire. There are too many people to rightfully thank, but some must not go unmentioned here: Reverend Peter Boelhouwer, who founded the school; Ethel Sutphin, Marilyn Farinella, and Priscilla Stothoff, our first three teachers; all our teachers, aides, and school directors; our Pastors and Consistories; our Board members; our volunteers; and our congregation. I know that these persons and all who were associated with the school join me in thanking our Lord for the opportunity to serve Him, his church, our community, and most of all, to serve those most precious, the children. We will celebrate the life of the school in a more formal way in the Autumn of 2021 or when it is safe to gather. Until then, keep the memory of the school alive in your hearts and minds.

It is with a heavy heart that TBCNS has decided to remain closed for the 2020/2021 school year. Due to many factors surrounding the coronavirus and it’s effects on our school and new state guidelines, the board felt a year hiatus was the best course of action. We want to remain the program and mission of the church we have worked so hard to be and unfortunately the new regulations changes many important aspects of our mission. We look forward to the possibility of returning in 2021/2022 if God shows us this path. Thank you to the many families who have supported and believed in our school. The staff sends our appreciation and love to the families and children under our tutelage. We will forever be touched by the love and kindness shown us. So for now we will not say goodbye but leave it with...we shall see you again. 💜

The TBCNS End of the Year Parade is rescheduled for Friday June 12th at 11am. We look forward to saying goodbye to our wonderful school families and send wishes for a super summer!!!

TBCNS Update: our End if the Year Goodbye Parade is scheduled for June 11th at 11am. We will have our families drive through our parking lot and have the opportunity to see and wave goodbye to each other and the staff!
