September was a rough month for me emotionally. The change of seasons usually are, especially since losing Rob. It would have been very easy for me to eat my feelings. Yes, I have a tiny tummy now but there are ways you can still do that. But I didn’t. I chose to feel my emotions and not mask them. This is what it mean when people say bariatric surgery & medications are just tools. You still have to do them mental work.
