The economic contributions of California’s Latino population have grown 2.7 times faster than the contributions of the state’s non-Latinos, according to the 2026 U.S. Latino GDP Report from our Center for Economic Research and Forecasting (CERF) and UCLA’s Center for the Study of Latino Health and Culture (CESLAC).

Matthew Fienup, an economist at CERF, and David Hayes-Bautista discuss the findings with Univision's primetime anchor, Gabriela Teissier, in this fireside chat.
