🐻 There’s a new Bear in town! 💙💛

A brand-new bear statue is officially greeting everyone as they enter the front parking lot! We’re loving this new addition to campus and can’t wait for everyone to stop by and say hello! 🐻✨

🌊🗑️ Making a difference, one piece of trash at a time!

Yesterday, a group of our Sequoia Bears headed to Borchard Park to participate in the California Coastal Cleanup and complete their community service hours. And WOW… record amounts of trash were collected! 🙌

We’re so proud of our students for showing up, getting their hands dirty, and giving back to our community. Every step matters! 🐻🌎

🍦🐻 A sweet start to middle school! 💙

Our WEB leaders hosted a 6th Grade Ice Cream Social, giving our newest Bears a chance to grab a sweet treat, hang out with friends, and share about their first month at Sequoia! From new routines to new friendships, our 6th graders got to reflect, connect, and celebrate making it through their first month of middle school. ✨

Big thanks to our WEB leaders for making this afternoon so special and giving our 6th graders a chance to connect, have some fun, and feel a little more at home at Sequoia. 💛 We’re so glad you’re here, Bears! 🐻

🎉 What a SUCCESS! 🎉

Our very first Life Management Pop-Up Shop was such a fun experience! Our student employees worked together to create, sell, and proudly share the items they designed with our Sequoia community. 🛍️💙💛

A HUGE thank you to everyone who stopped by, made a purchase, and showed their support for our hard-working students. Your support helps make future projects like this possible and gives our students meaningful opportunities to build skills, work together, and encourage inclusion across our campus. 🐻✨

Don’t worry if you missed this one… we’re already hoping for MORE pop-ups in the future! 👀🛍️

Thank you for supporting Life Management and our amazing student employees! 💙💛

This is HUGE, Bears!! 🌎👏🥳

We are proud to announce that Sequoia Middle School (grades 6-8) and Newbury Park High School (grades 9-10) have officially achieved authorization for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP)! This significant accomplishment marks the culmination of a rigorous, multi-year process of planning, implementation, evaluation, and dedication to meeting the high standards of the International Baccalaureate Organization. With this achievement, Conejo Valley Unified School District becomes the first school district in Ventura County to offer a complete TK–12 IB continuum. None of which would be possible without the commitment and dedication of our teachers, staff, and administrators! Learn more in the News section of the CVUSD website at: www.conejousd.org/News
