Report: Recruiting Undergraduates in the Public Sector
MissionSquare Research Institute has conducted several studies on public sector recruitment and the factors that motivate those who are seeking employment in the public sector. One gap in that research has been an investigation of how those who are still at the undergraduate level may decide whether to consider public employment, particularly among those in fields where there is high demand for workers in both the public and private sectors

The CLU ICMA student chapter received their award during the ICMA Student Chapters Meeting at the ICMA Annual Conference in Tampa last month as we work hard to prepare the next generation of local government professionals.
The ICMA Student Chapters meeting convened over 100 attendees! ICMA President Mike Land surprised students with opening remarks
They awarded 3 winners of the Best Chapters Event Contest: The University of South Florida, California Lutheran University, and the University of Delaware. Congratulations to the other winners!
This was a huge honor and I’m proud to have been able to go to Florida and receive this award on behalf of our ICMA Club.
ICMA is bringing back the Student Chapters virtual “Happy Hour” event this January.
