For the last four years, one student from the Ventura County Science Fair has been invited to compete at the international science fair. A Center student has been selected each of those four years.
Tonight, Olivia Johnson won $5000 from DCAT for her research investigating whether combining two compounds can more effectively reduce the survival and growth of triple-negative breast cancer cells.
Olivia will be attending UCLA in the fall to further pursue her research.
