🎷 Two weeks ago on May 9, the Redwood Viking Jazz Band joined nearly 60 ensembles from across the region for a full day of live jazz at the 2026 Westlake Jazz Festival.

From the Mezzanine Stage to the final notes of the day, our students represented Redwood with style, musicianship, and Viking pride throughout an incredible festival experience.

The Redwood Viking Jazz Band took 1st Place in the Novice Middle School AM division at The Westlake Jazz Festival this weekend.

Huge thanks to Westlake High School for hosting such a great event, to the judges for their feedback and support of student music, and congratulations to all of the incredible groups that performed throughout the day.

And special thanks to Mr. Payne, the music specialists, booster volunteers, and all of the early bird parents who help make mornings like this possible.

📅 Tuesday, April 29, 2026 - The Redwood Festival Concert brought together our Strings, Concert Band, and Symphonic Band for an evening filled with talent, energy, and Viking pride ❤️🖤

Thank you to the students, families, and supporters who packed the Redwood Gym and made it a night to remember.

On Thursday, April 29 at 6:30 PM, the return of the Conejo Valley All Percussion Concert delivered a swinging evening of rhythm, spirit, and standout performances from talented young musicians across the valley.
