NYE Post - Wrapping up a year I themed “fulfillment” and stepping into a year called “nurture.”
As the year winds down and we step into the cusp of something new, I’ve been reflecting on the quiet beauty and loud lessons of 2024.
If I had to sum it up in a single phrase, it would be: stretch marks on my heart.
This year held so much—moments of wild joy, messy in-betweens, deep belly laughs, and quiet nights where the overwhelm softened just enough to let me dream again. It was full of connection, growth, and even the occasional dance party in the kitchen (because when all else fails, dance it out).
There were also those times that made me pause, breathe deeper, and remind myself that it’s okay to feel all the things.
✨ Grief and gratitude.
✨ Chaos and calm.
✨ Uncertainty and a stubborn hope that things are unfolding exactly as they’re meant to.
And as I sit here sipping something warm (maybe tea, maybe champagne, maybe both), I’m struck by the reminder that we don’t have to have it all figured out to be stepping into something magical.
So, here’s what I’m taking into 2025:
• More time for belly laughs that make me cry and almost p*e my pants.
• Space for creativity and connection that lights me up.
• A softer pace, where I let life nurture me as much as I nurture others.
And here’s my hope for you, as you ring in the New Year:
• That you feel seen, cherished, and deeply connected to yourself and the ones you love.
• That you create space for whatever your heart needs—whether that’s rest, adventure, or a wildly unexpected dream.
• And that 2025 brings you closer to yourself in the most beautiful ways.
Let’s toast to all that was and all that is yet to come. To the messy middles, the big dreams, and the little moments that make life truly extraordinary.
