On Women’s Equality Day, we remember the courage of the suffragists—like those in 1913 carrying the banner “I Wish Ma Could Vote.” Their voices paved the way for the freedoms we hold today.
“There never will be complete equality until women themselves help to make laws and elect lawmakers.” — Susan B. Anthony
At the Center for Educational Excellence & Equity, we honor that legacy by empowering women educators to lead with vision, courage, and equity—now and for generations to come.

📖 One final reflection:
“Once you learn to read, you will be forever free.” —Frederick Douglass
A reminder from one of our nation’s most powerful voices: learning opens doors—not just to knowledge, but to freedom, confidence, and transformation.
We hope your summer reading offered both mirrors and windows, and that you carry this spirit of inquiry into the year ahead.
