There is so much learning tucked into an ordinary day at Segray🌿
Children are builders, artists, scientists, creators, problem-solvers, and explorers. When we provide interesting materials, meaningful choices, and the time to investigate, their ideas can take them in incredible directions.
This week, those ideas could be seen everywhere—from designing with construction materials and transforming play dough, to measuring, mixing, pouring, cutting, creating, and experimenting with different textures. Outdoors, children explored movement, water, sand, and the possibilities of large-scale play.
These experiences may look simple, but they are rich with learning: early math and science, fine and gross motor development, creativity, persistence, problem-solving, independence, collaboration, and confidence.
At Segray, we believe children learn best when they are active participants in their own learning—when they can wonder, try, make discoveries, change their ideas, and try again. 💛
