Today, on Kaila’s birthday, we honor the beautiful life and heart of Annette Gladstone’s niece, Kaila.
Kaila had a genuine passion for caring for others and making people feel seen, supported, and loved. The Kaila Kollective Scholarship was created in her memory to give children the opportunity to attend Segray Preschool who may not otherwise be able to.
Through each child who receives the scholarship, Kaila’s kindness and generous spirit continue to touch families and open doors for a child’s future.
Today, we celebrate Kaila, remember the love she gave, and honor the beautiful legacy she continues to create. Happy birthday, Kaila. You are deeply loved and forever remembered. 💛

🌟 Segray Alumni Spotlight: Lulu 🌟

Lulu recently graduated from 5th grade and is excited to start middle school! These days, she’s in a rock band, has been acting, and loves art, makeup, fashion, and video games.

One of Lulu’s favorite Segray memories was helping in the garden, a special experience she still remembers fondly.

We’re so proud of you, Lulu, and can’t wait to see what comes next! 💚

Our flourishing garden has been providing us with so many delicious treats! This season, we’ve enjoyed cherry tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, and even sunflowers. Our students were adventurous and sampled roasted sunflower heads topped with our own homemade butter. They discovered that sunflower has a texture very similar to corn, making it a fun and tasty garden surprise! 🌻🥒🍅🌽
