Bethany Christian School

Tuesday marked the final day for Bethany Christian School, a school that has thrived in the Conejo Valley for 52 golden years. Bethany Christian School has served students with not only challenging academics, but with love, purpose, hope, and faith in Christ as its bedrock.

Bethany is more than a school. It is a source of community, deep friendships, security, family, and trust. Students have accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior within these walls. Parents have found fellowship and support among each other as they have navigated the many trials and seasons of life. Teachers have touched the hearts and minds of their students, leaving lasting impressions that will carry into adulthood. Friendships have been formed and strengthened in Christ, growing well beyond the confines of this building. The work the Lord has done at Bethany Christian School is not over. It is very much alive in each and every blessed individual who carries the light and love of Jesus Christ outside the gates of 200 Bethany Ct., and into the very world that He calls us to reach and disciple. Bethany Bulldogs, WELL DONE being a bright light of the Gospel, and so faithfully honoring the Lord and one another.

Thank you to our loyal, humble, and fierce leader, Mrs. Shannon, for ALL you have done for this school and its community. You are treasured. Your honest and loving words at Closing Circle were felt by everyone. Thank you also to Pastor Brian Howard for delivering Tuesday’s devotion and important reminder that God will never leave us❤️. Finally, to all of our students, families, faculty, and staff…THANK YOU for being part of something so special and priceless. God has blessed Bethany Christian School greatly in serving you❤️.

On Monday night we celebrated the graduation of the BCS 8th grade class. This special group of students has demonstrated remarkable leadership, dedication, and friendship over the course of their time at Bethany. We even had a select group who have attended Bethany since Preschool 🤩. This was truly a night for fellow students, families, and teachers to gather and honor these boys and girls as they embark on the next chapter of their education. We pray that they go boldly into their next school sharing the love of Jesus. Congratulations graduates! 💙🩶🤍

The 2026 BCS Variety Show was full of non-stop entertainment! Performers wowed 🤩 the audience with acts like singing, dancing, comedy, athletics, piano, guitar, gymnastics, and more. These Elementary and Middle School students brought confidence, fun, and talent to this exciting BCS community event. We are so proud 👏🏼 of our courageous performers, and are very grateful to Mrs. Collet and Ms. Privat for their hard work on this show!

Campus was buzzing on Friday with Field Day🏃🏻‍♀️🏃‍♂️ in full swing! BCS classes spent the morning hours rotating between exciting stations like a bouncy obstacle course, relay races, long jump, co****le, limbo and so much more! The joy, laughter, and fellowship among our students and staff was a sight to behold🫶🏼. A huge thank you to our staff and volunteers for making this fun event possible!💙

Elementary boys and girls put on a brilliant performance of “The Secret of My Success”! The Spring Musical was full of song, comedy, and the truth of the Gospel message—Jesus loves us, paid a price for us, and we need Him❤️. Thank you to Ms. Walters for your work and dedication in directing BCS’ last musical. And bravo to every student for shining so brightly for Jesus during this special performance👏🏼!

Yesterday was 8th Grade’s last chapel, and they did a beautiful job👏🏼. Each student took to the mic to share why BCS has been special to them💙. They also shared a special verse they will hold onto in this next chapter of life as they venture on to high school. We pray these students shine the love of Christ wherever they go♥️.

6th Grade did a fantastic job 👏🏼 at their Science Showcase yesterday! Students worked through the scientific method: completing research, finding a problem/question, building an investigation, creating a hypothesis, conducting the experiment, collecting data, analyzing the results, and publishing the information. Well done boys and girls!

Today we remember and honor the courage and sacrifice of our fallen heroes. We are forever grateful for their bravery and loyalty in fighting for our nation’s freedom. 🇺🇸
