Running for Good Moises Velasquez is starting to make a difference for his community before graduation through his undergraduate research into the impact of fitness on the mental health of Latino youth.

✨ Dr. Jodie Kocur, Professor of Psychology, led three days of "Worry Warriors" workshops, helping 269 fourth and fifth graders in Ventura County schools understand anxiety. Students learned about symptoms, how the brain processes worry, and effective coping strategies! 💪🧠

Dr. Freeland (Political Science) had a jam-packed January! From delivering insightful lectures on Anne Frank and Martin Luther King Jr. to giving a welcome address at the MLK Day celebration at the Arlington Theatre, he's been busy sharing knowledge and inspiration. Kudo's to you, Dr. Freeland!
