The only way to progress in weightlifting is by being uncomfortable- physically and mentally.
Pushing past the threshold of physical discomfort demands your body to change to its stressors. But the physical work is the easier part.
The more advanced and experienced you become the more mental it will be. That’s where you have to dig deeper. The hardest part is the discomfort of facing yourself. Weights will expose your flaws and weaknesses- a difficult truth for most.
If you’re willing to suffer, you will find success. Learning to endure discomfort is a priceless skill set that will unlock more than just big lifts.
