Western Boone County Community School Corporation Thorntown & Granville Wells Elementary Schools (PK-6) and Western Boone Jr-Sr. High School (7-12) make up WBCCSC located in rural Boone County, Indiana.

Just thirty minutes north of Indianapolis, Western Boone Schools offer wonderful academic opportunities in a rural setting. We truly offer a small town, family-oriented atmosphere, and are equipped with all of the tools necessary for our students to succeed.

Show up and be loud on Saturday to support our Lady Stars Softball Team as they compete for our first-ever softball state title! Western Boone was given an allotment of 500 tickets for the game. Let's make sure all these tickets are sold so they don't return to the ticket pool. GO STARS!

🎉 A Standing Ovation for Our Band! 🎉
The WEBO band has been recognized with the All-Music Award from the State of Indiana for the first time in school history, and we couldn’t be prouder! This achievement showcases the hard work, teamwork, and musical excellence of our students and staff. To qualify for the award, they needed to get gold in marching band, concert band, jazz band, group 1 solo and group 1 ensemble.
Thank you for making our school shine on a statewide stage! 👏🎶
