Well I was thinking I was going to start a new salsa night somewhere but after going out and talking to people I'm not sure. It seems the market is pretty saturated and the clubs, even the popular ones, are having trouble filling up. The DNote was uncharacteristically low on people last night. What do you think? Are there too many places to go already? Would you want to go to a new place if it had a completely different experience? A more swanky/foodie experience? Or if it was Cuban/Miami-centric? The place I'm looking at is in Denver and has a cement floor. But is verrry cool. The owner wants to make it a whole experience. Thoughts?

Babysitter, check! Going to the DNote tonight!!! Some rueda-dancing friends from Malaysia will be with us. Come out tonight and help us give them the full Colorado rueda experience before they leave tomorrow!! Can't wait to dance some serious salsa, guys!

Anyone want to get together at the DNote this early eve? We're planning on going with kids at around 5. They have baby boogie till 6. Then we eat, and hang out till they kick on the salsa music, do a few dances and head home. Anyone?

Anyone want to join us at the D-Note? We're going with kids to the baby boogie thing they're having. It starts at 2 but we'll probably go at 4. We'll have dinner there and then we'll do a little salsa as the salsa night begins. (they start playing non-DJed music at 6 I think? Class/dj starts at 8). And leave when we've all had enough. Love some people to hang/salsa with!!
