We have officially kicked off our annual PAWS for a Cause Fundraiser! You should find the fundraiser envelope in your student’s Friday folder/backpack! Help us raise $30,000 (around $75 per student!) to fund school improvements, community events, staff appreciation and more! We have some great prizes lined up as students help us reach our goal! Our Girls on the Run team is back this Fall! Girls on the Run has fun, evidence-based programs that inspire participants to recognize their inner strength, increase their level of physical activity, imagine their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others. The team is open to girls in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, and you can learn more and register at www.girlsontherunrockies.org. Register soon, as the team will cap at 20 girls. The team will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school for ten weeks starting September 15 with the 5k at Mile High Stadium on Sunday, Nov 15.

Here is our event calendar for the year! You can also pick up a copy at our first PTA meeting tomorrow at 4pm in the Science Room 😉. Some events coming up first to save the date for: The PAWS for a Cause Envelope Fundraiser, which kicks off at the end of next week, on 9/4, and our first community event, a FREE outdoor movie night, is on September 25th! Check out all the fun events and Spirit Nights we have planned, and we hope to see you at our meeting tomorrow, August 26th!

Have a great first day, Bengals! If your child wants school breakfast, that starts at 7:20 a.m.; otherwise, drop-off is from 7:30-7:45 a.m.

Kinder families, we will have our special "Green Carpet Celebration" to welcome our newest Bengals on their very first day!

Kinder parents, please join our 5th graders as they line the main entrance with pompoms, cheers, and big smiles to welcome Kindergarteners into the building.

5th graders, please arrive by 7:30 a.m. to help welcome our new kindergarteners!

Thank you to everyone who signed up for PTA last night at Back to School Night! Whether you have officially joined or not, please join us at our first meeting of the year. It is one week from today, on Wednesday, August 26th, after pickup at 4:00 p.m.

All are welcome, even your kiddos! Join us in the Science Room, upstairs next to the library. We'll review this year’s proposed PTA budget, discuss upcoming events and the fun we have planned.
