Our Engineering & Aviation students had the opportunity to learn from Remote Sensing Analyst Chandler Boyles from Merrick & Company. He delivered an engaging presentation on LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) and how it’s used in surveying and mapping 🌎📡

Students even got to check out drones up close and explore the many career pathways in this exciting field. The future is looking bright! 💡✈️

Today, Bollman’s Engineering programs welcomed Merrick & Company (an engineering, architecture, surveying, and geospatial firm) for a special guest presentation. Guest speakers Paul and Robert shared insights on the wide range of engineering career pathways, an overview of the engineering process from start-to-finish, and specific soft skills important to serving customers and working as a team.
Industry partners like Merrick & Company play an essential role in helping students connect classroom learning to real world application. Thank you Merrick & Company!

Earlier this month, our Graphic Design students took on 🔥 SkillsUSA 🔥 — and WOW did they show up!

From concept to final presentation, they brought creativity, precision, and serious talent to the competition. We are beyond proud of the hard work, late nights, and dedication that paid off in a BIG way.
