🏃‍♀️🎉 DINO DASH FUN RUN VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🎉🏃‍♂️

Want to cheer on your kiddo AND help make the Dino Dash a fun, safe, and memorable day for ALL our runners? 💙

We’d love your help! Volunteers will be assigned to one of the following roles:

📣 Course Monitors: Cheer on runners, help keep them safe, and snap some fun pictures!

💧 Water Table: Hand out water to runners who need a drink.

🚴 Bikers: Ride along the course and help keep an eye on our runners.

🏁 Finish Line & Ribbons: Help track laps, hand out ribbons, and celebrate every finish!

Want to help behind the scenes? We need you too!

🛠️ Setup: Help get the course and event ready before the fun begins!

🧹 Take-Down: Help collect supplies, cones, vests, and clean up after the event!

🎨 WHERE YOUR FUNDRAISING DOLLARS WENT: ART EDITION! 🦖✨

Before we launch this year’s fundraiser, we’re taking a moment to celebrate what YOU helped make possible last year!

Because at Discovery, art isn’t just about making something pretty—it’s about creating, experimenting, designing, problem-solving, and bringing ideas to life! 💡🎨

Thanks to our amazing Discovery community, our artists got to explore:

🧵 Sewing Mannequins — bringing fashion, design, and sewing projects to life!

🖌️ Airbrushes for Liquid Watercolor — giving students a whole new way to experiment with color and technique!

📚 Book-Making Supplies — so students could design and create their own journals and books from start to finish!

🎨 Supplies to Make Our Own Paints — because why just use paint when you can make your own?!

🧶 LOADS of Felting Supplies — opening the door to an entirely new medium for our young artists to explore!

This is what your support looks like. ❤️

It looks like students saying, “Can I try this?”
It looks like creativity without limits.
It looks like turning ideas into something students can see, touch, and take pride in.

🚀 Before We Launch This Year’s Fundraiser… Let’s Look at the IMPACT! 🦖💙

Last year, our Discovery families showed us what happens when a community comes together! 🙌 Thanks to your incredible fundraising support, we were able to bring NEW learning experiences to our students!

🤖 K–4 STEM: Our younger Dinos got to dive into the world of Emotions Robots—combining STEM, coding, creativity, and social-emotional learning in one awesome experience!

🚁 5–8 STEM: Our older Dinos took learning to NEW HEIGHTS with a brand-new Drone Class! Students are exploring flight, technology, engineering, problem-solving, and so much more.

And this is just ONE part of what your fundraising dollars made possible last year! 🎉

This is why we fundraise. ❤️
Not just to raise money—but to create experiences, opportunities, and learning that our students might not otherwise have.

🍕✨Save the Date: Spirit Night!✨🍕

What exactly is a Spirit Night? It’s an easy way to support our school while enjoying a meal! 🙌

Spirit Nights are special events where a local business partners with our school for a specific date and time. When you stop by during that time and purchase items, the business donates a portion of the proceeds back to our school!

The best part? These events are SO easy to participate in. It usually just means grabbing dinner for your family, and you’re helping support our school at the same time! Every purchase helps, and together those purchases can make a BIG difference! ❤️

🚀 MISSION POSSIBLE: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🚀

Our annual fundraiser is blasting off into space this year! 🌎🪐 Our school and PTA work together to raise funds supporting specials, electives, grade-level grants, community events, and school building upgrades.

To make this mission a success, we need LOTS of volunteers before, during, and after the fundraiser! 🙌
