📣 **Help Shape the Future of Career & Technical Education on Prince of Wales!**

The POW CTE Interest Survey closes August 31, and we want to hear from as many students, families, staff, and community members as possible before the deadline.

Your feedback will help determine which Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways and student organizations—such as SkillsUSA, HOSA, FCCLA, BPA, FFA, DECA, and more—launch across our four districts during the 2026–2027 school year.

The survey takes about 5 minutes, and every response helps us build and maintain programs based on real student and community interest.

👉 **Take the survey here:**
https://forms.gle/3UrweEvSmGvpFwee8

Please complete the survey and share it with students, families, friends, and others in our communities who want a voice in the opportunities available in our schools.

đź“… **Survey closes August 31**

Thank you for helping us build CTE programs that reflect the interests and needs of Prince of Wales students and communities!

Happy Principal Appreciation Day, Mrs. Shiela Nyquest! 🎉

Joining Thorne Bay mid-year is no small feat, but Mrs. Nyquest jumped right in and got to work—building strong connections with students and families, bringing positivity, and rolling up her sleeves to help get the school back into great shape (seriously, some next-level “deep cleaning” skills!).

She has raised the bar for expectations, strengthened accountability, and helped create a more positive, student-centered environment for everyone. Most importantly, she shows up every day with heart, dedication, and a clear commitment to doing what’s best for kids.

We are incredibly grateful for her leadership and the difference she is making in our school community.

Take a moment today to share your appreciation for Mrs. Nyquest in the comments! 👏
