Paul Lutheran School in Thorndale, Texas was founded in 1890. We are a Christian day school serving families of students from age two through Grade 8. Paul offers a Christ-centered education to church and community families. The Pre-K program is licensed by the State of Texas, and K-8 is accredited by both national and state accreditation bodies. Paul Lutheran School is a mission of St. Paul Lutheran Church, a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS).

At the start of Spring Break, 51 St. Paul students competed in friendly academic competition at the PSIA District Meet. We are proud to congratulate our 24 students who qualified for the State Meet (many in multiple events) and our 10 state alternates!

St. Paul students represented our school exceptionally well, bringing home a combined 70 Top 3 ribbons.

This success wouldn’t have been possible without the time and energy invested by our numerous volunteer coaches, along with the students’ diligent practice at home. Thank you to everyone who helped make this achievement possible!

Day 5 of Lutheran Schools Week: Preschool takeover day!

Our Kinder-8th graders had a school holiday so Early Childhood students got to run the school.

They dressed like big kids, played on the big kid playground, worked on big kid lessons in the 1st and 2nd grade classrooms and even got to eat lunch in the grade school cafeteria!
