Bulldogs, get ready to bring the spirit this football season! From Hunt the Panthers and Gold Out to Game Night, Pink Out, Senior Night and more, we’ve got a fun lineup planned! 🏈

Our first pep rally kicks off Thursday , August 27 with Hunt the Panthers! 🐾

**Dress up spirit days are GAME DAY only. If pep rally is Thursday and game is Friday, Friday is dress up day.

Pep Rally Visitor Information
​
Visitors planning to attend a pep rally will be required to sign in prior to the event. A Google Form will be sent out each Monday during the week of a scheduled pep rally for visitors to complete.

For safety and security, all driver’s licenses must be rescanned prior to entering the first pep rally you attend this school year. All visitors must also wear their visitor badge visibly at all times while on campus.

We are excited to welcome our students back to Thorndale ISD for the first day of school TOMORROW! 💛

🏫 Doors Open: 7:15 AM
🔔 First Bell: 7:45 AM
🎒 Dismissal: 3:30 PM

*We ask that all parents do not walk students into the building for morning drop off.

Please review the attached maps for important drop-off and pick-up information for the 2026-2027 school year.

With Phase 2 Bond construction underway, there will be some temporary changes to traffic flow, particularly for our Elementary and Middle School families. Barricades will be in place, and staff will be available to help guide traffic as everyone gets familiar with the new routines.

New High School:
🚗 Morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up will follow the same route shown on the High School map.

Elementary & Middle School:
🚌 Bus Loop: No changes. Buses will continue using the existing bus loop.
🚗 Morning Drop-Off – PreK-8th: Families will enter using N. Elliot Street to E. Norris Street and follow the route shown on the map.
🚗 Afternoon Pick-Up – PreK-3rd: Families will use the gravel path around the tennis courts as they have in the past.
🚗 Afternoon Pick-Up – 4th-8th: Families will use the same loop used for morning drop-off.

We know the first few days may take a little extra patience as everyone adjusts to the temporary traffic patterns. Please follow all barricades, signage, and staff directions to help us keep traffic moving safely.

We can't wait to welcome our Bulldogs back in the morning!

What a great morning of collaboration, connection, and learning! 💛

We loved spending time with our friends from Granger ISD and Coupland ISD —sharing ideas, learning from one another, and strengthening relationships between our districts.

When educators come together, everyone grows—and ultimately, our students are the ones who benefit most! We’re grateful for neighboring districts who share our commitment to creating the very best opportunities for students. 🐾

Today was filled with excitement, encouragement, and a wonderful reminder of what makes Thorndale ISD so special.

A huge thank you to David Hall, our amazing students, the TREE Foundation, Mr. Kleypas, San Gabriel Christian Church for providing a delicious breakfast, and the Thorndale Meat Market for treating our staff to lunch. Your support means so much as we kick off another incredible school year!

We’re excited for the days ahead as we prepare to welcome our Bulldogs back to campus. We can’t wait to see everyone at Meet the Teacher/Open House next week!
