We’d like to welcome Jessica Powell to our staff this season!
Jessica Powell began her dance training at Paul Klocke Studio of Dance in Delaware County,
where she studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, and modern. She was also a member of the studio’s performance team, giving her the opportunity to perform at local competitions and festivals. Jessica continued her education at West Chester University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a minor in Dance. During her time at West Chester, she was a member of the University Dance Company, performing works by faculty and guest artists throughout the Philadelphia area. She also had the opportunity to choreograph for the dance company, further developing her experience as a choreographer.
Jessica continues to deepen her appreciation for the performing arts through her experience with Clear Space Theatre Company, where she works as a member of the stage management team. Working alongside directors, choreographers, performers, and designers, Jessica has helped transform creative visions into successful live productions. Her experiences both on and off stage continue to shape her approach as an instructor, inspiring her to create a positive, encouraging environment where dancers can grow in confidence, creativity, and artistry.
Dedicated to her continued growth as a professional, Jessica recently earned her Stretch and Flexibility Certification through NASM. She shares her knowledge and passion for dance by teaching at studios throughout Chester County, working with dancers of all ages and skill levels. Jessica is committed to helping each student strengthen their technique, develop confidence,
and cultivate a lasting appreciation for the performing art
