Today we went to William Penn to High School Art Day. What a great experience! Students got to do workshops in making giant puppets, flying drones, stage combat, improv, creative writing, animation, social media photography, and zombie special effects. Congratulations to Oliver Thomas! Oliver’s poster for the CDI Poster Contest “One Water” received first place in the 7-9 division at the state level. Oliver’s poster will move on to represent Iowa in the National Contest.

Make plans to join us on Thursday or Friday for the SICL Art Show! We are so excited to host this annual showcase of students' artistic talents from across the area!

Parents, families, and the public are invited to visit the Art Show on Thursday and Friday from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm in the Iowa Valley Jr./Sr. High School Gymnasium. Please enter through the athletic entrance on Hilton Street.

The SICL Art Show features works by talented artists from the following schools:
