Thoreau El Hawks! 🦅 Grades 3-6 are doing Beginning of the Year iMSSA testing on Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 18 and 19.

We had a great start to the 26/27 school year. It is so nice to see all the smiling faces back on campus! 😁 This is just a reminder that there is no more late start on Thursdays and Fridays. School hours are 7:45 - 2:50 Monday - Thursday, and 7:30 - 1:30 on Friday.

Welcome Back to the New School Year!

Gallup-McKinley County Schools is excited to kick off another year of learning, growth, and community.

Students, we can't wait to see you on August 5th for the first day of school!

Before that, we're welcoming our staff back: 194-day staff return on August 3rd, and 192-day staff return on August 4th. We're glad to have you back and ready to make this year a great one for our students.
