HEADS UP people, it's happening...we've extracted one bee yard (apiary) and will have honey this year. Not sure how much yet, as we have more to go. You can pray for regular rain through the summer, so there will be a decent Fall Flow.

Well 2020 for many....has been the year to forget. Soon we will be celebrating the birth of Jesus...for many....to include me....our Lord and Savior. We hope all of you have a most wonderful Christmas, where memories are made, lives are drawn together tightly with much love. Let us all look forward and by faith see what is ahead for each of us with the coming of 2021. Thank You to those that purchased honey from us. We look forward to seeing spring and seeing our honeybees produce honey. They are amazing creatures full of energy, mystery, sometimes possessive of their "homes and their honey" and WILL STING YOU"!

Can you believe it, we had a swarm about 2 weeks ago. Didn't really notice it until the bees had begun to build comb.

Well...this was our first honey-pull weekend. We did pretty good...but not as good as last year. While our spring has been wonderful for humans with the rains and cooler weather, not so much for honey bees. These girls like it dry and hot. They don't fly in the rain and if they think it's a bit cool, they just stay at home.....I know a few humans like that. At any rate, they didn't take full advantage of the bloom in our area. As beekeepers often say....it is what it is....time to move on....for us moving on is keep an eye on our ladies, keep'em feed and clear of the dangers that plague our honey bees here in America....and wait and see what fall will bring in way of a fall bloom and possible second honey pull. We should have 2020 spring honey for sell in a couple of weeks. What can you do.....be "honey bee friendly". Careful if you have to spray outside. Don't spray when things are blooming, try and use pollenator friendly chemicals, better yet,essential oils.

Thank's Brandon and Alex for purchasing some of the beekeeping items I had For Sale. I still have a mens's sz medium bee suit w/veil, as well as a bunch of small hive bodies/frames, a very nice extractor, great size for someone with 2-10 hives. S.A.F model, 2 frame manual.
