R. L. Norris Elementary School is excited to invite our students, families, and community to an evening filled with books, imagination, learning, and a love for reading!

Join us for an exciting evening designed to celebrate the joy of reading and encourage our students to discover the magic that happens when we open a book. Our staff has planned engaging activities and special experiences that will make reading fun for the entire family!

Parents and families will also have the opportunity to receive valuable information and resources to support their child’s reading development at home. Information will be shared about reading strategies, available learning resources, and ways families can encourage strong reading habits and academic success beyond the classroom.

We are proud to bring our school and community together to support literacy and help our students become confident, capable readers. ❤️📚

Our students are learning that a simple “hello” can make a big difference! This week, we are empowering our students to end social isolation, build connections, and make sure everyone feels seen, welcomed, and included.

Today, we asked our students and staff to wear GREEN as a symbol of unity, solidarity, and our commitment to connecting with one another. 💚

At NES, we believe every student deserves to feel like they belong. Let’s continue to spread kindness, make connections, and remember that Every Piece Matters! 💙💛🤍
