The annual Georgia Probe College Tour offers high school students an opportunity to explore post-secondary options, including colleges and vocational and technical school programs. This morning, students in Mrs. Barwick's Literature & Composition II class worked together in groups to explore and analyze the short story "The Book of the Dead" by Edwidge Danticat. Students took turns "rolling the dice," foam cubes with a mix of reading comprehension and textual analysis questions on each side. Students discussed each question, agreed on an answer, and returned to the text to support their findings with evidence.
