Please join us in welcoming Ms. Yolanda Lucas as our new Assistant Principal! Ms. Lucas is a veteran educator with an impressive 25 years in education who values teamwork and supportive relationships - aligning with our core values and making her a great fit at Pilot!

Her experiences are unique in that she has served at nearly every level of school operations - starting as a Teacher Assistant, advancing into the classroom as a Teacher, and later stepping into leadership roles as a Curriculum Facilitator, Multi-Classroom Leader, and Assistant Principal. Academically, she earned both a Bachelor of Elementary Education and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from High Point University. Ms. Lucas will bring a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to our leadership team.

We look forward to her becoming part of our team. Welcome to Pilot Elementary Ms. Lucas!
