At EveryAge, we are reminded that even in life's most difficult moments, hope, faith, and community endure. The events of September 11 revealed the strength of the human spirit and the importance of caring for one another, values that continue to guide our ministry and mission each day.

Each year, June 19, or Juneteenth, recalls the date in 1865 when all enslaved African-Americans in the US were made aware of the Emancipation Proclamation and were officially released from their bonds – some two years after President Abraham Lincoln had initially signed the proclamation.

Our center was filled with laughter, big smiles, and unforgettable moments as children and their families came together to celebrate. From fun activities to hands‑on experiences, it was truly heartwarming to see families connecting and making memories with their little ones.

A special highlight of the day? A surprise visit from the Easter Bunny—bringing extra joy and excitement to our children! 🐰✨ (Fun fact: our very own Executive Director, Jan Purdy Gray, helped make the day extra magical by stepping into the role!)
