It is a pleasure to welcome all present at this year’s celebration of St. John’s Day in Thomasville Masonic District No. 10, hosted by Joppa Lodge No. 43, PHA F&AM. And what an awesome day of fellowship, worship, and brotherly love it has been! As usual, Joppa Lodge sets the bar high; no wonder that we do our very best to be the best – not just the best in our district, not just the best in Georgia, but the best in the whole world!
A sincere thank you goes to our wonderful speaker, PM C.E. Alexander, who traveled from Middle Georgia to Southwest Georgia to share his message with us. You inspired us and motivated us; your message was challenging, encouraging, and full of meaning. It will remain with us forever.
And last but not least, to all our visiting brothers and sisters, to all our Grand Lodge Officials, Grand Chapter Officials, and to our brothers/sisters of Valdosta Masonic District No. 9 – thank you for being here and for sharing your fellowship with us yesterday.
To my brothers of Joppa Lodge No. 43—I cannot do any better than saying THANK YOU! As your Worshipful Master, I could not have been any prouder of you all. You excelled yourselves in every task and duty you performed on behalf of the lodge. Your efforts did not pass me unnoticed and I am very grateful to you all.
Finally, a special thank you to all the lovely ladies who were willing to serve behind the scenes in making today's event a success. Thanks to Sis. Carmen Pittman, PDWM Janice Moody, PWM Joyce Jackson, AM Sis. LaRhonda Reddrick, ADWM Betty Jones, and PM Cherida Reese of Amelia Chapter No. 14 for serving us all in the fellowship hall and kindly welcoming our guests through handing out programs at the entrance.
