🐴🏆 Congratulations to fifth grader Lucy M! 🏆🐴

Lucy competed in an equestrian event this weekend and had an incredible showing! She earned three first-place ribbons, one fifth-place ribbon, and was named the Overall Grand Champion in her division! 🎉

What a beautiful celebration we had today as we opened our Forty Hours Devotion! Bishop Gainer was with us to celebrate Mass, and our students had the special honor of serving as altar servers. What a blessing and an honor it was for each of them!

We are so grateful to His Excellency, Bishop Gainer, for being with us and helping us begin this special time of prayer and devotion.

Forty Hours continues through Tuesday evening, September 1, at 7:00 PM. We hope you will take time this week to stop by church, spend some quiet time with our Lord, and experience the grace of His presence.

What a beautiful first Mass we had as a school community! 🙏

Fr Celestine spoke to us about the Gospel and the importance of making wise decisions. We were reminded that we can always ask God for help and guidance when making those decisions.

We also learned more about St Augustine and how his mother, St Monica, faithfully prayed for him to turn his life back to God. Her perseverance and trust in God are such a wonderful example for us all.

What a beautiful way to begin the year and celebrate together as a school community! 💙🙏

Phys Ed Classes Are Back in Session! 🏃‍♀️🏀

Phys Ed classes are back in session, and we had a fantastic week of fun and movement! Students participated in games and activities that practiced running skills, hand-eye coordination, jumping skills, teamwork, and more.

We played Beat the Ball, where students had to run around a circle of classmates while their classmates passed a ball around the circle. We also played Cone Hop, where students jumped with a cone at their feet as they worked to catch a small ball.

Another favorite was Pizza Tag! 🍕 Using laydowns as their “pizzas,” students worked to keep their pizza safe while trying to knock down other players’ pizzas.

Our Kindergarten students practiced some calisthenics and played fun games designed to help them learn the rules and routines of the gymnasium.

What a fun first week back! We can’t wait to see what next week brings! 🎉
