✨ Meet Isabel, our Marketing Intern! ✨
As our Marketing Intern, Isabel helps manage the Center's social media presence, helping share exhibition highlights, promote events, spotlight artists, and connect our community with everything happening at the Center. Through creative content and storytelling, she works to showcase the impact of the arts and encourage more people to get involved.
Her favorite part of the role is finding new ways to tell the stories behind our programs, artists, and events while helping people discover all that the Center has to offer.

🌿🎨 Free 2nd Saturday: Outdoor Arts 🎨🌿
Join us for our LAST 2nd Saturday until August! On June 13 from 10 AM–2 PM, we will take creativity outside 🍃
This month, we'll explore the outdoors through hands-on art experiences including plein air watercolor painting, sun prints, and insect house building. Participants of all ages will connect with nature while experimenting with light, color, and natural materials in imaginative new ways.
Enjoy a relaxed, family-friendly afternoon filled with artmaking, movement, healthy snacks, and plenty of space to create, explore, and play.

Looking for a creative outlet this week? Join us at Thomasville Center for the Arts for adult classes in Oil Paint & Sip, Watercolors, and our three-day Ink Portal Intensive creative writing workshop!
Whether you're picking up a paintbrush, exploring watercolor techniques, or diving into your writing practice, there's something for every creative spirit. Registration is still open for these classes, but spaces are limited.

We’re excited to feature Alex Whitlock, Special Events Manager at Thomasville Center for the Arts, for our June Spotlight!
Alex brings a creative, collaborative spirit to everything she does—shaping immersive, meaningful events that bring people together and celebrate the arts in our community. With a background spanning graphic design, arts nonprofits, ethical fashion, and textile work, she also founded The Pleasant Studio, a design studio focused on interior styling and handcrafted textiles.
Her approach is rooted in connection and creativity: “It’s such a joy to collaborate with everyone and see how each individual’s contributed talents come together to create spectacular events and lasting memories.”
From thoughtful design to uplifting local artists, Alex helps make every experience at TCA both intentional and inspiring. Join us in celebrating her and the work she brings to life at the Center!
