🍄✨ Discover the wonderful world of needle felting!

Join us Saturday, October 10 at 10:30am for a beginner-friendly Needle Felting Workshop with Jaime Moody! Learn the tools and techniques behind this unique fiber art while creating your very own needle-felted mushroom sculpture to take home.

Thomasville native Jaime Moody recently returned home after 25 years away and now teaches at Scholar’s Academy. A lifelong artist with a love for exploring new materials and techniques, Jaime has been practicing needle felting for about five years and loves bringing imaginative ideas to life through fiber.

No experience necessary—just bring your creativity! 🧶🍄

Bird Dog Bash is back—and tickets go on sale THURSDAY! 🔥🎶

The Wildlife Arts Festival, after dark. Join us Saturday, November 21 at 7 pm at Sugar Hill Barn at Pebble Hill Plantation for an unforgettable evening of Southern hospitality, art and live music.

Gather in the barn for a Southern supper and open bars, bid on one-of-a-kind works during the live auction, then head outside as bonfires light up the lawn and the celebration carries into the night.

🎶 Americana trio Trillium kicks things off before returning favorite Jason Byrd takes the stage to keep the party going.

The artists are at the heart of this year's Wildlife Arts Festival. 🎨🦆

This November, an incredible group of artists will come together in Thomasville to celebrate the beauty of wildlife, the outdoors and the sporting traditions that inspire their work.

We’re especially excited to welcome June Klement as our 2026 Featured Artist, alongside a talented lineup of artists bringing their unique perspectives and exceptional work to this year’s Festival.

From meeting the artists behind the work to experiencing wildlife art up close, Wildlife Arts Festival is about more than what hangs on the walls—it’s about the stories, talent and connections behind every piece.

September Center Spotlight ✨ Meet Rick Ivey

This month, we’re celebrating Rick Ivey, Executive Director of Thomasville Entertainment Foundation (TEF)—and a longtime advocate for the arts in Thomasville.

Rick’s connection to the arts began early. At just 11 years old, he attended his first TEF concert featuring pianist Peter Nero, sparking an appreciation for the arts that would eventually lead him from concertgoer, to volunteer, to board member, and ultimately to Executive Director in 2019.

Rick has also been part of the Center’s story from the very beginning. During the 1980s renovation of East Side School and planning for what would become Thomasville Center for the Arts, he helped build community awareness and support for the future Center.

As we celebrate 40 years, Rick reminds us that Thomasville’s love for the arts stretches back generations—and that collaboration between organizations like TEF and the Center helps ensure that legacy continues.

“We attempt to build not only the next generation of performing artists, but also the next generation of audiences and arts advocates.”

Thank you, Rick, for your decades of dedication to making the arts accessible, meaningful and vibrant in our community. 💙
