Attention Jerger Elementary families! Mark your calendars for our upcoming Parent Orientation sessions. All meetings will begin at 5:45 PM.

Orientation Schedule:

Pre-K & Kindergarten: Tuesday, August 11th

1st & 2nd Grades: Thursday, August 13th

3rd, 4th, & 5th Grades: Thursday, August 20th

Specific location details for each session will be shared directly by your child’s homeroom teacher. We look forward to seeing you there!

As we prepare to welcome students back, we want to remind families of an important update for the 2026–2027 school year.

In accordance with Georgia House Bill 1009, all Georgia public schools will implement a bell-to-bell restriction on personal electronic devices for students in grades K–12. This new law expands the state's distraction-free learning initiative to include high school students, helping create classrooms where students can stay focused, engaged, and connected to learning.

Here's what to expect at Thomasville City Schools:

📱 Students in grades 6–12 will store their personal devices in Yondr pouches throughout the school day.

📚 Elementary schools will continue following age-appropriate school procedures that align with the state's distraction-free learning requirements.

We appreciate your partnership as we work together to create safe, focused, and engaging learning environments for every Bulldog.

Transportation information is now available, and requests are being accepted through the EZArrival app. A transportation request must be submitted each school year for every student who plans to ride the bus.

Before Monday, be sure to:

✔️ If needed, select "Reset Password."
✔️ Submit your student's 2026–2027 Transportation Request.
