Please join us in welcoming Mr. Murdocca to the St.Rose of Lima family! We are excited to have him joining our teaching staff this school year.

With experience teaching middle school math and science, as well as elementary education, Mr Murdocca brings a passion for helping students grow both academically and spiritually. Most recently, he served as a teacher and Science Fair Director at St. Margaret Mary School and is excited to bring new opportunities to St.Rose of Lima, including the possibility of reintroducing a school science fair.

A strong believer in Catholic education, Mr Murdocca is grateful to be part of a Christ-centered school community where students can thrive in faith and learning.

Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his wife, their two sons, and their two rescued dogs. He is an avid cyclist and swimmer, enjoys live music, and loves following college basketball, soccer, and football. As a former player, coach, and referee, he especially enjoys encouraging young athletes and sharing his love of sports.

It’s always so special to see our school family making memories—even during summer break! 🏖️😊

🎉 Introducing Ms. Erin Buckman! 🎉
Please join us in welcoming Ms Buckman to the St. Rose of Lima Elementary School family! We are excited to have her joining our teaching staff this school year.

Ms Buckman has experience as a preschool teacher and is passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and reach their full potential. She is also a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) with experience working with individuals with special needs. Ms Buckman is especially excited to be part of a Catholic school, where she can help foster learning in a faith-filled environment.

Outside of the classroom, Ms Buckman enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their dog, Shaggy. She also keeps busy caring for a small backyard farm with chickens, tending to her vegetable garden, and spending time outdoors exploring nature. One of her favorite places to visit is Gettysburg!

Ms Buckman is looking forward to getting to know all of our students and families, and we are thrilled to welcome her to St. Rose of Lima. Please join us in giving her a warm St. Rose of Lima Elementary welcome! 💙💛

🎉 Introducing Mrs. Jade Kauffman! 🎉

Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Jade Kauffman to the St. Rose of Lima family! Mrs. Kauffman will be joining our PreK 4 classroom this school year, and we are excited to have her as part of our team.

She lives with her wonderful husband, their two children—who will also be attending St. Rose—and their two energetic pups. Mrs. Kauffman enjoys art, reading, crocheting, gardening, and fitness. She holds a degree in Digital Arts and Design and has experience homeschooling her children through their early education.

Many families may already know Mrs. Kauffman from her dedicated volunteer work at St. Joseph while her children attended there, or from UPBC Cheer, where she served as one of three coaches.

Mrs. Kauffman is looking forward to bringing her enthusiasm, creativity, and positive energy to the PreK 4 classroom and becoming part of the St. Rose of Lima community.
