Ace's birthday is tomorrow. Please let him know that you love him & haven't forgotten him by showing an ACT of Kindness in his honor. I made a new flower arrangement & got him a cute little frog nightlight yesterday. I think he would approve!

If you could also say a little prayer for me tomorrow I would really appreciate it. I'm going in for a heart cath to assess whether some areas of concern need further medical intervention.

I was really scared when I found out I would need this procedure, but when it was scheduled on Ace's birthday I felt a wave of calm. I know he'll be by my side, taking care of me no matter the outcome.

I'll never let your story end, Ace. Your story has helped, and will continue to help, so many.

Forever
is a long time
to miss someone

Especially when
their absence leaves
such a lasting mark
on your heart

They say time
heals all wounds

But some absences
create such deep scars
in our hearts, that
time moving forward
only seems to
deepen our longing

Yet in this ache
there is comfort in
the small things ~
old pictures,
a familiar scent,
a song …
a connection that
existed on earth and
now in Heaven

To miss someone forever
is to keep a part of them
alive within us ,
to hold onto who they were
and what they meant to us

As life moves forward
you learn to carry
them with you,
not only in your thoughts
but in who you are

And so life goes on
New memories are made ~

Yet that special
place in your heart
always remains theirs

power of love

5 years since I've heard your voice, your laugh, heard you say, "I love you Baby Sister." Tomorrow will be 5 years since you left this Earth. Last week was 5 years since we took this picture- our last one together.

Time passes by so quickly, but the broken heart doesn't abide by time. I love you & miss you like crazy, Acie Poo. 💔
