Active minds need hands-on experiences!

This week, our Middle and Upper School students stepped out from behind their desks to dive directly into their coursework:

Coach Humphries' Honors Geometry team mapped out real-world angles around campus.
Mr. Sowers' Middle School Scientists designed (and competitively raced!) cars to understand cell functions.
Ms. Schober's Biology Class analyzed water transport in "gummy bear cells" during their osmosis lab.

Thanks to small class sizes, our teachers are able to turn complex concepts into memorable experiences. We love seeing them create space for curiosity, collaboration, and high-reaching academic growth every single day!

Unlocking how we think, lead, and collaborate!

During their SGA retreat, our student leaders tackled an Emergenetics® challenge with Allison Harrell of Olive Orchard. Divided into teams for a leadership exercise, the students quickly learned they were working through their brain’s lowest preferences which forced them to adapt, collaborate, and stretch their problem-solving capabilities.

It was an incredible weekend of leadership development, and we love seeing Brookwood continue to raise the bar for our student leaders. Thank you to Allison and Olive Orchard for bringing such a valuable experience to our campus!

From the energy backstage to taking the stage at Thomasville Center for the Arts, Frozen is going to be our biggest production yet!

What You Need to Know:
