We ended our Community Helper unit last week with some fun visitors! We got to see how a Baker mixes and bakes and we even got to try some yummy cookies 🍪 Thank you, Kae! On Wednesday we watched a Veterinarian check on the animals and even got to pet a blue-tongued skink 🦎 Friday we got to stop-drop-and roll with the Firefighters 🚒 and we even saw Sparky the dog! Thank you to everyone that came to share with us and teach us about all the helpers in our community!

Last week and this week we are talking about Community Helpers and the things they do for us! Last week we got to make butter and eat it. We also got to love on Mater, the pig! Thank you, Hailey with Upson County 4-H. On Wednesday we saw the K-9 dog and police car. Thursday we got to hear all about Jesus with Pastor Bryan and Friday our Forestry team came out and showed us their tractor and even put out a fire for us! Thank you to all of our Community Helpers in Thomaston! We are excited to hear from more this week!
