Yesterday, we wrapped up Day 2 of our New Heads of School Meeting and New Athletic Directors Orientation in Atlanta.

Our smaller group created an interactive and engaging setting, giving new Heads of School one-on-one time with our GISA President and Vice President, while our new Athletic Directors connected with our Associate Commissioner.

One of the benefits of GISA and GIAA is the opportunity to have these meaningful conversations with our team, ask questions, and build relationships from the start.

We are excited to welcome these new leaders as we begin the 2026-2027 school year! 📚

Today marked the first of two New Heads of School Meetings and new Athletic Directors Orientations for the 2026-2027 school year! 📚

We were excited to welcome new faces from across the state and spend the day covering everything from professional learning and student activities to eligibility, sportsmanship, state championships, and more.

Thank you to Tattnall Square Academy for hosting us! Tomorrow, we head to Atlanta for our second session with another group of new leaders.

We are excited to dive into this new school year and continue welcoming these new leaders into the GISA and GIAA community!
