🎨🎸 ✨ Meet Me Monday: Meet Ms. Hayley B! ✨ 💛

This Monday, we’re shining the spotlight on our wonderful toddler teacher, Ms. Hayley B! 🌟 She has been part of our Goddard School Third Lake family for almost 3 years, and we are so lucky to have her! 🥰

Hayley B. is the assistant teacher in the Brown Bear room with Ms. Haley W & Ms. Kristen. Working at Goddard has been her first time working in childcare and is so eager to learn from her co-teachers and grow in her craft. In her free time she loves spending time with her friends and family.

Ms. Hayley is full of creativity, talent, and s***k! 🎨🖌️ She is super crafty and loves to paint, bringing her artistic talents into the classroom with the most fun and creative bulletin boards. Her classroom is always filled with colorful touches that spark curiosity and make learning extra special! 🌈✨

But did you know Ms. Hayley is musical, too? 🎶 She can play both the guitar AND the banjo! 🎸🪕 Talk about a talented teacher!

One of our favorite things about Ms. Hayley is her great sense of humor and her ability to make our toddlers giggle and laugh. 😂💖 She has such a special way of connecting with her little learners, making them feel loved, happy, and excited to come to school each day. Those toddler smiles and belly laughs say it all — our little ones absolutely LOVE Ms. Hayley! 🥹💕

Thank you, Ms. Hayley, for filling our classrooms with creativity, laughter, music, and so much love. You make such a wonderful difference in the lives of our little learners, and we are so grateful to have you as part of our Goddard family! 🏡❤️

🌟 Meet Me Monday! 🍎📚 Get to Know Our Amazing Assistant Teacher Miss Mackenzie! 🎨🎶

This Monday, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on one of our wonderful assistant teachers here at The Goddard School Third Lake! Miss Mackenzie💛

For the past almost three years, she has been working in our Fireflies preschool classroom, bringing creativity, kindness, and so much love to her students each and every day! 🥰 She has previously worked with children ages 2-8 for 3 years as well. In her free time she loves spemding time with her boyfriend Jose, her friends and family.

📚 A Lover of Learning: She is an avid reader who loves getting lost in a good book and sharing her love of learning with the children.

🎨 A Creative Spirit: From painting and drawing to music and the arts, she loves finding creative ways to inspire our little learners and let their imaginations shine!

💗 Making Meaningful Connections: One of her greatest strengths is the special bonds she builds with her students. She has a beautiful way of making each child feel loved, valued, and understood. And the sweetest part? Her former students still remember and adore her! Once you're one of her students, you're always part of her heart. 🥹💕 That kind of lasting connection is truly something special!

🎵 Fun Fact! Did you know she played the clarinet for NINE years and was a member of the marching band? 🎺🥁 We love discovering the fun talents and experiences that make our teachers so unique!

We are so lucky to have such a caring, creative, and dedicated educator as part of our Goddard family. Thank you for the love, laughter, creativity, and meaningful connections you bring to our preschool classroom. 🌈 “Spray, Mist, Soak & Create!🍂🎨 🍁💦

Our Tortoise artists are FALL-ing in love with art! 🍂❤️ Our little learners had a blast using spray bottles filled with water and fun fall colors to create their very own leaf masterpieces! 🍁🧡💛❤️

This exciting process-art activity let our preschoolers explore color mixing, experiment with different spraying techniques, and watch their creativity come to life! Along the way, they practiced fine motor skills, hand strength, coordination, and sensory exploration — all while having FUN! 🌈✨

Every leaf was unique, just like our amazing little artists! We love creating opportunities for our children to explore, discover, and express themselves through hands-on learning. 🥰🍂

Who am I? The Seahorses are exploring that question through their “All About Me” project! 🐠
Children found their photos from a mixed collection of peer images, added them to personal books and talked about what makes each classmate unique. These activities help build self-recognition, independence and early foundational academic skills—all while celebrating their classroom community. Through this process the Seahorses contributed to a meaningful classroom community project. What makes your little one special? 💙

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
