ADawn Nelson has been inspiring Northland students through her hands-on teaching philosophy for over a decade! Not only has she experienced many memorable moments, but her advice to students is wise: "Take every opportunity you are given. Get to know ADawn; she:
▪️ Believes that you always, always learn it and how to apply it.
▪️ Graduated from the University of Minnesota and holds degrees in Animal Industries Management, Equine Science, and Master of Education.
▪️ Teaches with engagement. Understand the why, and you understand the need. "Let's dig into a topic."
▪️ Says starting the Animal Science/Ag Program at Northland is the most exciting project she has worked on.
▪️ Spent ten years teaching high school Ag and five years teaching Animal Science at the University of MN Crookston.
