Woohoo! I am so excited for the Northland community band to play for the TRF community on such a beautiful day. I hope you come and join us!

Celebrate summer with your neighbors Tuesday nights with Pioneer 90.1's free concert series! Northland Community Band kicks it all off with a salute to America 250! In the event of rain, this concert will move to the Curling Club. Watch here for more information! See you Tuesday night!

Kick off the summer season with Pioneer 90.1 at the Floyd B. Olson Park Gazebo Tuesday, June 2 at 7:00 for our salute to America's 250th year! Northland Community Band will perform a selection of patriotic pieces including: “God Bless America,” “Spirit of America,” and “Battle Hymn of the Republic." Hope to see you Tuesday!

Come to the Floyd B. Olson Gazebo Park in Thief River Falls on June 2 at 7pm to listen to some patriotic band music as part of our nation's 250th anniversary, as performed by the Northland Community Band!

CALLING ALL INTERESTED BAND MEMBERS in the TRF area!!

The Northland Band has a rehearsal on Monday, June 1, from 7-9pm at Northland College-Thief River Falls campus, room 407, in preparation for our performance on Tuesday, June 2, at the gazebo park across from Arby's in TRF.

There is room for those who can read music well and want a little fun, camaraderie, and music-making this summer.

A tidbit for you today…

in 1897, "The Stars and Stripes Forever" had its premiere at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia. In 1987, Congress passed legislation making it the national march of the United States. Tell us about a time you played or heard "The Stars and Stripes Forever!"
