St. Genevieve Catholic School (Pre-K – 7th), an educational ministry of St. Genevieve Parish It added a grade each year until 1964. They were to staff St.
Genevieve Parish opened its Catholic elementary school on August 29, 1960. It began with grades K-3 (99 students) and an all lay faculty headed by Miss Edna Ledet as principal. In that year, the School Sisters of Notre Dame assumed administration of the school. Genevieve through 1969. The school reached its maximum enrolment in 1966 with 308 students, some of the grades having two sections. In 196

Even though Fr. Eric and Fr. Alex will be with us until the end of June, we want to make sure that before the summer days bring us to different directions in life, we are able to celebrate as a parish family and show our gratitude for them. That celebration will be this weekend. Please join us either on Saturday or Sunday (see details below).

Our students are excited for Field Day this morning and are proudly showing off their new colorful shirts! We’re ready for a great day filled with fun, games, and lots of smiles! ☀️🎉

The past two days, our students had the opportunity to participate in exciting STEAM programs led by Challenge Island! They created coasters with loops and curves and had so much fun sending their marbles down the tracks they designed. Great job, kids!
