Yesterday was a special day as we officially unveiled the Leonard Lasseigne Campus Beautification Endowment and celebrated the legacy of Mr. Leonard Lasseigne.

For more than 30 years, Mr. Leonard helped shape the beauty of our campus, and this endowment will help preserve that beauty for generations to come. Through this program, individuals can purchase a tree on campus in honor or memory of someone special while supporting the future of Nicholls.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this meaningful celebration and helped honor a true member of the Nicholls family.

The family of John and Beverly Stafford has established the John and Beverly Stafford Endowed Scholarship in Instrumental Music at Nicholls State University.

Created to support senior-level Instrumental Music Education majors, this endowed scholarship will help prepare the next generation of band directors while honoring the Staffords' lasting impact on music education in our community.
