We are incredibly grateful to the Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana and to the Rouse family for establishing the SJCES – Matthew Rouse Special Needs Education Endowment in honor of Matthew’s life and legacy. This incredible gift will provide lasting support for our special needs education program and help ensure our students have the resources and opportunities they need to learn, grow, and thrive for generations to come.

Social Studies and Theology collide! ✝️📚

While studying early humans, our 4th grade students asked Fr. Bruce a thoughtful question about how early humans relate to the creation of Adam and Eve. He was more than happy to give them a quick lesson to explain! It is such a blessing having Fr. Bruce on campus with us!

What a gift to see our students’ curiosity and faith come together! 💙

The school recently received a beautiful statue of the Holy Family from FrRusty Paul Bruce. This morning, a few of our youngest students were drawn to stop and admire it as they passed by- a beautiful and simple moment of faith. 🙏❤️
