A special message from MC ‘24, Mallory Pellegrin and Amelia Bouvier about their time studying abroad in Germany!

“I am so grateful for my opportunity to travel to Germany with the Nicholls Honors Program! It was the best experience to learn about German culture and folklore. It was so eye opening to me as I’ve never traveled overseas before. We learned everything from the history of the towns we visited to witch trials and fairytales. I also met so many new people and made great friends who traveled with us! The Honors Program planned the perfect trip, I couldn’t have asked for a better time!“

“My study abroad experience in Germany was both educational and rewarding. We were able to see historic sites and walk through so many old towns all while learning so much about German history. While doing all of this, I also got close with the people that I went on the trip with that I didn’t necessarily know before the trip. When I decided to go on this trip, I was very hesitant, but I knew that in college i wanted to travel as much as i could. Being able to go on this trip allowed me to grow independently and be more adaptable. Looking back now, I would have regretted not going on this trip. I made memories that will last a lifetime.“

Coming into Tri Sigma, Hallie and Adyson were looking forward to making life long friendships. We’re so glad that y’all found the sister y’all didn’t know y’all needed!

✨ Adyson quickly became one of my favorite people on earth and I wouldn’t change it for world. She is my best friend and the biggest light in my life. Sigma brought her into my life when I needed her the most and she has been nothing but the biggest blessing. College wouldn’t be the same without our endless laughs until we can’t breathe, our late night calls ranting about who knows what, and all of our memories together. I can’t wait to continue to live this life having a best friend like my addy girl!!

✨ Hallie is my absolute best friend and sunshine in human form. She is my go-to girl for literally anything and everything whether it’s a 7Brew run or late night calls to solve all of our problems. She gets me in a way no one else does and I truly admire that about her. She not only supports me at my best but is there for me at my lowest to lift me up. My college and Sigma experience would not be the same without Hallie. I truly do not know how I ever lived life without her by my side.
