On behalf of the students, faculty, staff, administration, and entire Theodore High School community, I would like to express our sincere appreciation to T-Mobile for your incredibly generous $6,000 donation through the T-Mobile Friday Night Lights program.

While the final score on the football field may not have gone our way, Friday night was still a tremendous victory for Bobcat Nation. Your generosity reminded us that the true strength of a school is not measured simply by wins and losses, but by the support, partnerships, and commitment of the community standing behind it.

Your investment in Theodore High School is more than a financial contribution. It is an investment in our students, our programs, and the opportunities we work every day to provide. Partnerships like yours make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and demonstrate the power of businesses and schools working together.

We are especially grateful that T-Mobile recognizes the importance of supporting public education, high school athletics, and the communities that make Friday nights so special.

Thank you, T-Mobile, for believing in Theodore High School, supporting our students, and being part of Bobcat Nation. Your generosity will have an impact far beyond the football field.

We are proud to have T-Mobile as a community partner, and we sincerely appreciate your commitment to helping our school continue to grow and succeed.

Once a Bobcat, Always a Bobcat!

Go Bobcats! ❤️🖤

Dear ,

As Superintendent, I must make all decisions with the safety and well-being of our students and employees in mind. We all know and recognize that weather conditions can be unpredictable and forecasts may change quickly.

After careful consideration of the latest weather information and the potential for inclement weather in our area, I cannot risk anyone’s safety, as again, the weather conditions currently remain extremely unpredictable. Therefore, all Mobile County Public Schools campuses and offices will be closed on Friday, October 9, 2026. I completely understand that closing schools can create challenges for families, and I do not take that impact lightly.

I appreciate your patience, understanding, and flexibility as we navigate circumstances that are ultimately beyond our control. Please continue to monitor official MCPSS communication platforms for any additional information or updates.

Sincerely,

Chresal D. Threadgill
Superintendent
Mobile County Public Schools
