A massive thank you to Jordan Smith for leading an incredible hands-on workshop!

Our students traded their pens for wrenches as they learned the essentials of car maintenance and tool safety.

From mastering the art of changing a flat tire to learning how to safely jump-start a battery, our students are leaving school today a lot more confident and prepared for the road ahead.

Way to go, everyone!

We had a great day of learning, creativity, and growth on campus!

✨ Hadassah Casilio led our girls in a hands-on cosmetology workshop, sharing skills, confidence, and creativity.

🎶 Rudi Ribeiro spent time working with our worship team, encouraging excellence and growth as they continue to develop their gifts.

🌍 Ms. Savannah’s 3rd grade class presented their projects, each one spotlighting a different continent. Their hard work, creativity, and knowledge were impressive!

We’re thankful for the people who invest in our students and for the opportunities our students have to learn in meaningful ways.

Creativity was glowing in Mrs. Destani’s art class this week! Students designed and painted their own candle holders, each one as unique as its creator. We love seeing our artists shine bright! 🕯🎨

Our chapel worship team broke out the instruments and started preparing for chapel services—can’t wait to hear what they’re working on! 🎶🙌

And huge shoutout to Steve Karl for leading an awesome art workshop! Students got hands-on practice with lines and shading, and the creativity was flowing. 🎨✨

✨ Workshops in Action! ✨

Our students had an amazing day diving into hands-on learning opportunities:

👩‍🍳 Cooking with Lauren Whitten – students rolled up their sleeves and learned how to prepare a delicious roasted chicken with mashed potatoes.

🎥 Content Creation with Wyatt Sippy – students explored the world of digital media and even created their very own video! (https://youtu.be/Kqwp4eGV6Ok?feature=shared)

🎶 Worship Team with Tyler England – students who signed up for the chapel worship team got to meet together and start preparing for a powerful year of leading in worship.

We love seeing our students grow their skills, passions, and confidence through workshops like these! 🙌

What would you do with 25 spaghetti noodles, 1 yard of string, and 1 yard of tape? These students made freestanding towers that could hold a marshmallow on top.

The tallest tower, created by Isaiah Webb and Anniston Harrison measured 27.5”!

Teacher Appreciation Week is off to a fantastic start! We are so thankful for all of the parents and volunteers for showing love to the Legacy Academy Staff!

It was an amazing week at Legacy Academy!

Our chapel service was powerful and many students encountered the love of the Father in a significant way as Jimmy Lovejoy shared and led us in communion.

The kindergarten class celebrated our 100th day of school in a fun way! They were incredibly creative in their dress up.

To end the week, the 8th-9th grade class took a field trip to the USS Alabama and explored a piece of history.

We hope everyone has an amazing spring break, and we’ll see you back on April 21st!
